This HEPEX workshop will focus on scientific questions concerning how atmospheric prediction systems can be used for hydrologic streamflow applications and probabilistic quantitative precipitation forecasting. Special attention will be given to how to produce skillful and reliable ensemble forcing for hydrologic applications using both single-value and ensemble atmospheric forecasts.
